I am researching the family of Vladimir BOZIC also known as Walter BOZICH (1896-1969), son of Ivan BOZIC (?-1896) and Marija BUBANJ (?-1948), from Mali Dol and Krecisca, Croatia. After Ivan's death, Marija married a BLASKOVICH and had a son named Zvonko. Walter BOZIC later emigrated to Italy and France before settling in Joliet, IL, where he met and married Mary SKROKO. I'm trying to find information on the parents and any siblings of Ivan BOZIC and Marija BUBANJ.
In addition, I'm researching the family of Mary SKROKO (1904-1985), daughter of Peter SKROKO (1872-1942) and Mary MINERICH (1878-1959), both from Stari Laz, Croatia. Peter SKROKO was the son of John (Giovanni?) SCIROCCO (?-1920) from Italy and Antonia JELENICH from Croatia. Mary Minerich was the daughter of Anton MINERICH and Antonia PERISICH. Peter and Mary met in Brazil, married in Sao Paolo and had 4 children, 2 of which were lost in the jungle. They emigrated to America in 1896 and settled in Joliet, IL, where they had 8 more children.
