I am just beginning my families search and any help would be appreciated in my first search.

My father (Chester Stanley Brewer) from Ohio (Painsville) born December 13,1919, and passed away February 1977. I have found adoption papers from his birth-parents Stanley Weiss and Anna Dallner changing his parentage to Brewer. Apparently his adopted father was a Brewer who later died in a construction accident. His second step father was Russell Gage. Interested in Weiss, Brewer, and Gage with roots in the Ohio areas.

My mother (Hulda Mae Sawyer)from North Carolina (the Gum Neck, Colunbia, Plymouth areas)was born in December 1918, and passed in November 1978. Her birth father was "Zeb" Sawyer and her mother was Minnie Mae Parisher. "Zeb" and Minnie divorced, and Zeb passed rather early, and her mother remarried George Croft from West Virginia (Fairmont area). Interested in Sawyers, Parishers, and Crofts that may be related.

My wife's Mother (Margaret Stokesbury) and Father (Leo Atamanchuk) are from North Carolina (Plymouth area). Leo passed a couple years ago, and her mother is still living in the area. Her father's relatives (most notably "Mother Helen)were from the Ukraine. Interested in Stokesbury, Stotesbury, Stotesberry, Atamanchuk, Hruska, Cochelis in those areas.

I will update as information becomes available.

All help will be greatly appreciated.
