My research started with a trip to the Isle of Man to trace the ancestors of my father Robert Henry Bridson. I also researched his mother Elizabeth Jane BREW.
I then turned my attention to my mother Florence PREECE and her mother Annie HODDER and Great Grandmother Jane IVES all of whom lived in the Sandhurst, Berkshire area. The HODDER side of the family originated from the Chard, Somerset area.
