I never knew my Grandfather as he died before I was born, but I do know that he was South African. He married Louise Hartley and they had three children, Anthony, Peter and Maureen Claridge. They were all born in East London, South Africa. My father is Anthony Rowland Claridge, the eldest of the three Claridge children. He was born on the 21st of June, 1940. Anthony, or Tony as he is known to our friends and family, married Mary van Harmelen. She had two daughters, myself - Bronwyn Louise Claridge (now Bridger, my married name), born on the 3rd of February 1976 and my sister, Megan Alma Claridge, born on the 2nd of July 1977.

We, as a family, have lived in East London, South Africa, for my entire life - 26 years. My father's sister, Maureen, lives in San Francisco and my uncle, Peter, lives with his wife and their daughter and son-in-law in George, South Africa.
