I started a few months ago and have learned an incredible amount of information about my family history. All I knew was the last name of my father Cecil Schell. I went to my mothers cedar chest and found my grandfathers obituary and got his birth date and names of his brother and sister and thier origins.I found they were all from Bruce, Port Elgin, Ontario. This is where it all began for me. More seaching found my greatgrandfather with my grandfather, his sister and brother listed as his children and so it went on. I am absolutely amazed at what a startling background I have and never had a clue of it until now.
