My Grandfather John Molyneux was born in Hindley nr Wigan on the 11 July 1892. He married Jane Ann Leeming of Sacriston Co\Durham and had a son James (my father).Grandad had a sister who emigrated to Canada, I believe her name was Nellie (who became Nellie Frater)Grandad was living in Sacriston from an early age as he joined the Working Mens Club in Sacriston when he was 17yrs. I believe he was a miner. I would like to hear from anyone who knows anything about my grandad as I know very little about his parents and any brothers and sisters he had.I would like to know who to get in touch with to research my Grandfather's Family in the Wigan area. My grandmother Jane was born in Sacriston and her parents were believed to be Elizabeth and Thomas Leeming. Gran had sisters and ( I've been told )a brother. Their names are Hannah, Lizzie,Ada, and the brother was named either Robert or Thomas. Lizzie lived in Witton Gilbert, and the other sisters lived within a few miles of sacriston. One of the other sisters Hannah is beleived to have lived in the Stanley Area. I will be putting photos of people who are connected in some way to my family.   I believe this is a photo of grandad's sister Nellie. My father had this photo among his possessions. It may have been photographed in Canada were she was believed to have emigrated.
