We are a large family, seperated and most placed in foster homes due to our mother's illness, and grew up knowing of but not knowing each other. The years have passed and we all have had families of our own, with many children being born amongst us, some not knowing each other.
This year, the year 2001, we all decided to get together, for the first time since our father's death in 1980. A total of 54 came, 8 siblings out of the 11 living attended, along with their children and grandchildren. A fun time was had by all.
We hope to do this again on a yearly basis, and in the meantime, plan on keeping contact with each other. In the meantime, we will be working on our family tree, first starting with the present family members.
