Started research in 2003. By 2005 had traced maternal side back to early 1800's and have records available to include back to 1616. On the side of my great grandfathers wife I have traced the history back to the early 1700's.
Surnames in the tree include: Cartwright, Slater, Nicholson, Smith, Warner and Weedman.
Most of the history of the 1700 and 1800 period is based around Burslem, a suburb of Stoke-On-Trent in Staffordshire, England. Some of the earlier history is based in Batavia (now Jakarta) in Indonesia, where my ancestors were missionaries. This was at a time when Stamford Raffles was Governor and before he founded Singapore. Even further back it relates to Australia and Warners Bay N.S.W.
