My family research is to find the father of Daniel George Brinkley.I know he was born in North Carolina in 1800 and died 1879 in Marshall County,Holly Springs,Mississippi of yellow fever,from records in Holly Springs,people left everything and pulled out,census records shows them living in the Southeast part of Marshall County and in Benton County.Some of his kids are buryed in #30 family plot and his plot # 38 he purchured has Sarah brinkley 3-21-1853 - 5-9-1853 his daughter,George brinkley 5-4-1849 - 8-20-1849 his son,Mary Moore 12-24-1850 wife of J.M. Moore,Mary Agnes Ellott 6-19-1902,Jesse Martin 12-7-1925, Eligabeth McClu 10-10-1909, Andrew Mann,10-4-1875 , at Hilcrest Cemetery in Holly Springs,my father went to Holly Springs and went to cemetery where all are buried and talk to cemetery people,but Daniel must be buried in a mass grave somewhere?My father also went to Columbus,Indiana, and just north of Columbus found at New Hope Cemetery a grave that a tombstone said Nancy Brinkley wife of Daniel Brinkley,born 1801 and died 11-8-1838.no photo.Daniel was also married to Nancy Caroline Morris in Mississippi.My great grandfather Henry Stonewall Jackson Brinkley is buried in Post Oak Cemetery in Oglesby,Texas ,his mother Caroline Morris Brinkley is also buryed there .His son William Earl Brinkley born 3-22-1895 - 4- 26-1976 his son Floyd Edward Brinkley 7-20-1923 - 23 sep 1999 was my father .
