My family research started with one name--one branch. Over the past twenty years it has evolved into many names and many branches. I have researched the following names of my descendants in North Carolina: BRIGHT, PETTYJOHN, CREED, BAREFOOT, ELDRIDGE and BATTEN.

My wife's family research also started with one name--one branch. Over the past twenty years it has evolved into many names and many branches. She has researched the following names of her descendants in Virginia and West Virginia: BURTON, COMPTON, FISHER, STUMP, BAUGH, KINSER, and LAMBERTS.

Most of our research has lead us to the 1600-1700's timeline on most of our relatives. We would love to hear from anyone that has any questions about our relatives.
