I have established my "ROOTS" from Henry Bridger before 1500 thru Richard Bridger 1501, Lawrence Bridger 1558, Samuel Bridger 1584, Joseph Bridger 1628, William Bridger 1658, Benjamin Bridger 1696, Samuel Bridger 1721, John Bridgers 1745, Berry J Bridges 1776, David S Bridges 1809, William Riley Bridges 1852, Walter Lee Bridges 1879, Walter Maynard Bridges 1915 to me, Robert Bridges 1935.
The Begining was in England to Virginia to North Carolina to Georgia to Kentucky to Texas and finally with me, California.
Interestingly, The name changed in North Carolina when the letter "S" was added to BRIDGER, then with my GGG grandfather the name became Bridges.
