About Our Family Research

I come from a big family, having 15 brothers and sisters. some are here and some have gone on to another home. From bootleggers to teachers and preachers, our family has a long list of accomplishments to their credit, some we're not so proud of, others we are. I've only learned about my extended family within the last five years. So my search has been revealing to say the least. I've learned things I never knew and things I wish I didn't know. My line of the Brinsfield family isn't documented very well in the messages and pages I've come across. A lot of it I had to piece together from the information of others. However I found it, I'm thankful for the researchers who did so much work to document their own family and therefore, to help me find mine.
George Washington Brinsfield born in 1799 and famous for his traveling preaching, is my Great-great-great grandfather. My great-great grandfather is his son, Zachariah K Brinsfield born in 1834.
Zachariah's son, Henry, or James Henry as we knew him, was born in 1859-60 and was my great grandfather, whom I never saw or knew. His son, George Clem (sometimes known as Buster, or Buck) is my grandfather, he passed away in 1972.Everett Ray Brinsfield is my father.
