My paternal grandmother Sadie Brisson (Sullivan) started this many years ago. Her side of the family originally immigrated from Ireland and my grandfathers (Exave Brisson) side of the family immigrated from France and settled in Canada.

Grandma traced their ancestry back as far as she could prior to the advent of the internet. I have attempted to resume where she stopped. By sheer good fortune I was assisted immensly by a total stranger (Jean-Marie) in Canada. Many thanks too him.

There is much more to add and I will keep plodding along as time permits.
