Hello everyone and welcome to my webpage. This page is dedicated to all those people who were born with or married into any families that carry the surname of PADMAN,anywhere in the world.
The name PADMAN is not a common name,although their are PADMANS in most states of Australia,New Zealand,United States and England,to name a few. A lot of the early Padmans seemed to have originated in the county of Durham in England,but later moved onto other counties such as Lincolnshire,etc.
The a main purpose of this site is to allow anyone with PADMAN ancestry to post their gedcom files here and to view other PADMAN gedcom files as well. If you would like to submit a GEDCOM file,photo or story to this site please feel free to email me.
My own PADMAN's come from Lincolnshire,England and settled in Tasmania in the mid 1850s. I descend from Wesley Cawston PADMAN the son of Thomas PADMAN and ANN CAWSTON. Thomas was a lay preacher with the founder of the Wesley Church,John Wesley and as such was moved around a lot during his ministry.
