The Brinsfield's have been self employed thru the current generation in 2000. Employed in farming, truck hauling, boating (captain), hunting guide, acting and performing and computer and electronics technician and field engineering. The Orem's of the early twentieth century and before were farmers and store owners and the Coleman's of that time were farmers as well as I know. The Bouchelles of early twentieth century were farmers and hunting guides. Joseph Bouchelle and his wife Lulu both died young of tuberculosis within a few years of each other leaving two young children who were raised by aunts and uncles of bothe the Bouchelle and Boulden families, particularly Hindman (henny)Bouchelle brother of Joseph and Nettie and Mame Boulden, sisters of Lulu Boulden. The Boulden's of the 1800's were land owners and farmers and it was said gambling and living high was much participated in. No doubt racing horses was included. The Bouchelle's ancestors are Mary Bayard approx 1835, Amelia pierce approx 1885, Susan Bailey approx 1835.
It was always claimed by the older generations of Bouchelles that their was a direct decendancy to Augustine herman who is prominant in Maryland history dating back to the early 1600's when he came to MaRYLAND FROM Prague. A search will reveal much about him.
