My father is Carlos Federico Garcia Pinelo, a Guatemalan, who as a teenager studied in Belize where he fell in love with a highschool girl from Honduras. This girl, Gladys Victoria Egan Mendez, was 2 yrs younger than him; and they married and lived in Guatemala City, where they had 5 girls and one boy. I, Wanda Lorena Garcia Egan, am the fourth kid and live with my husband in Germany. My mother was strangled on June 1994 in Honduras, and my father remarried on March 2001. We all have an excellent relationship.
