| Currently researching family line that goes back to the Tibbs/Turton/Townsend line from Cambridgeshire UK. I have traced this line back to Harriet Tibbs born in Wisbech in 1832.She was my Great-grandmother. Her first husband was William Townsend born in 1829 and her second husband was one Turton. Between the two husbands Harriet had six sons and they all migrated north to Middlesbrough UK in the late 1880's.The Masterman/Midgeley line originates from Goole/Whitby UK and I have traced this back to Mary Midgeley born in 1788, died 1866. Her daughter also Mary born in 1824 married John Masterman also from Goole in 1822. Their son Thomas was born in 1844 and was my Great grandfather. They also had several children and moved to Middlesbrough also in the 1880's. The Fletcher/Yeoman/Atkinson line from Whitby UK I have traced back to Mary Atkinson born in 1801 and her husband Thomas Fletcher born in 1799. |
