Attempting to obtain more descendants of Peter. Allied families are: Eggleston, Townsend, Burgess, Whitney, Haines and others. Peter was born in Holland in 1740, came to the U.S. in 1760. He married Elizabeth Stone in 1767, they had 16 children.They lived in Westchester Co., Putnam/Dutchess Co., and Greene Co., all in NYS.Peter was in the Revolutionary War, according to the D.A.R.I am interested in any information about this couple prior to their settling in Greene Co., NY.(abt 1795)Have been "collecting" info on the Brewer family for 25+yrs., and will be happy to share. |
