Judge John Fitzpatrick (b. 27 November 1820, d. 07 June 1878)

John Fitzpatrick (son of George B. Fitzpatrick and Mary "Polly" Fitzpatrick) was born 27 November 1820 in Pulaski Co, Ky⁵, and died 07 June 1878 in Somerset, Pulaski Co, Ky⁶. He married Martha J. Gilmore on Abt. 1848.

Notes for John Fitzpatrick:
Aunt Mary remembers that Grandpa Fitz would have been about 1-1.5 years old when his Mother died. Stephen's sister Mary came to take care of Stephen and Lucy's children, but a baby of that age was too much. He lived with his maternal grandmother until he was abt. six. Grandpa Fitz spoke of a big white house, a tobacco plantation with little houses in the back for slaves. The Fitzpatrick plantation may have been used by General Rosencrans of the Union Army for quarters during the Civil War.
