George Lee (son of Richard Henry II Lee) was born 1743, and died 1803 in Madison Co. Kentucky. He married Nancy Pinkston, daughter of Edward Pinkston.

The following is taken from the "Special Insert of The Lee Tree, Annotated Genealogy of The George Lee Family": George Lee probably lived in North Carolina in the 1770's before he settled in Kentucky, where he died in 1803. He may have had brothers Richard Lee and Thomas Lee. His wife is believed to have been Nancy Pinkston. The Lee Tree, Vol 4, No 2, December 1991: The 1803 inventory of George Lee's estate indicates that his property was valued at 67 pounds. Some of the items listed were carpentry, shoemakers, and coopers tools. A cooper was someone who made or repaired wooden casks and tubs. Other items included books, rifle, saddle, looking glass, pewter and tin silverware, two horses, five cattle, and various furniture. The Lee Tree, Vol 5, No 1, June 1992: George Lee lived in Madison County, Kentucky from 1792-96 and then about 1798 moved to present day Pulaski County, where the state government had just made available a great area of land previously reserved only for soldiers. George settled on 170 acres.
