This line of the Bryant name originates in Chesterfield, SC. From there, they have spread up the east coast, and settled mainly in the Baltimore, MD area.

The first Bryants to settle in Chesterfield, SC were Lloyd Bryant and his wife Georgia Bryant in the mid 1800's.
