This family tree was begun more than 30 years ago by Darlene Ann Peck ( Norman ) as a high school project that just never ended. Through her I have found out much about the lineage of my children through their fathers side of the family.
My own personal journey began again just weeks ago when my kids found out they were related to the outlaw Jesse James. I am now in the process of verifying just how the relation comes down to them. It has been a fun search, and has also led my to find out more about my own side of the family, about which little is known.
My goal now is to find out when my great, great grandmother Amanda Berg came to this country, when she was born, when she died, when and who she married, etc. All I know for sure is that she came from Sweden. Being new to this, it may take me a while, but I am determined.
