John Johnson and Ethel Linkous were married in April of 1920.They had 5 children by 1932. John worked with the railroad out of Roanoke at Shaffer's crossing. Ethel worked at being a wife and mother. They moved to Portsmouth,Virginia,where John worked at Norfolk Naval Shipyard.The 3 boys eventually entered the Air Force. They all were overseas,and came home safely. The 2 girls married and had children during the 40's and 50's. The boys msrried and had children in the 60's. Their children are becoming grandparents. We are spread out in Virginia,Georgia,and Michigan. Most of us do not know each other. I wish to connect to as many person's as possible who have known any of them. Stories are especially desired. Photos will be an added bonus.
