I am a decendant of Minna Maude Cureton our family has done reserch on our grandfather Joel Edgar Mattison, but there hasn't been enough research done on our grandmother and I would just like to have anyone that knows any information on the Curetons of South Carolina to help me and my family build a stonger union in knowing our family roots.

We hold family reunions every other year, the next reunion is set for August of 2005 in Washington,DC. Each generation of the Mattison's host a reunion whether it's in our home state of South Carolina or where some of us migrated to in the Washington DC metro area.

There has been so many things that have developed and so much great news in our family and we as a family would love to share it with our other relatives and those who are decendants of Minna Cureton or the Cureton family in South Carolina there isn't much that we know about the Cureton's but we sure wanna have the opportunity to find out and bring some closure to our family history and the roots of this great thing that we embark on which is "family togetherness."
