Researching the Bryants, Pomeroys and Riels of the Northampton (Florence) Massachusetts area. Bryants go back to Plymouth, MA (through Stephen Bryant of Plymouth), the Pomeroy's are through Eltweed Pomeroy who arrived in Dorcester in 1630 who later migrated to Windsor, Connecticut and whose son, Medad, settled in Northampton, MA. The Riel family arrived in Northampton from Quebec via Rouses Point, NY.
