Took the "t" after his son went in the army (sometime before 1951 & after 1938). Lived Lasker, NC. Was disabled at an early age and lived with Sallie Bryant, Mildred Hendricks, Bill Bryant, til his death. He was employeed at the Easly Tobacco Warehouse (SS#244-07-3117). Moved to Rocky Mount around 1943. Lied to rest in Pineview Cemetary w/ his Sallie (wife) & Bill (son).

Died when Ray was in the 5th grade of school.
