I have some information. Not alot! I have very few dates. Most of the Youngs are from Burkesville, Cumberland County , Kentucky! We have found on the Youngs back to Andrew Speer Born in Donegal, Ireland and died in 1690 In Somerset, Maryland. In the notes it says:
It is said that Andrew Speer came from Scotland to Northern Ireland and then to Maryland with Lord Baltimore....
I also have information on James Roach! He is my Great Great Grandfather! Here are the notes I have on him:
James Roach was born June 1, 1870 In Cumberland County, Kentucky! He married Catherine Coop! Little is known about James Roach except what some of his children can remember. James Roach was apperantly gunned down by his wife's two brothers, as he came home one night intoxicated. He also had a nick name people used to relate to him as "Wild Jim Roach" , which gives one an Idea that he was a violent man. James Roach was to have died between 1907 and 1908. His widow never remarried and reclaimed her maiden name after his death.
James Roach came home one night scared todeath! He said the devil was after him. He said he saw him and he had two horns.
It was also said that he spilt hairs with his children.
After Catherines brother shot him, they put him on a sled, they said the blood was running offthe sled. They kept the sled for several years with the blood stains on it! Lucille remembers seeing the sled!
James Roach drove two six guns !
He took a buggy whip from a man, while he was on his horse!
People were scared of James Roach! He didn't like bullys or for men to used bad lanuage in front of women!
My Grandfather on my moms side ( my moms dad ) Was a great man!!! Once my cousin and I took off on our tricycles , it was bus time. We got to a neighbors house and she asked us if we wanted a ride home. We told her yes, about that time my grandfather pulled up in her driveway. He tok our tricyclesand put them in the trunk. He then spaneked us and put us in the backseat.Needless to say he never had to spank us again. lol..My grandfather was a good man! Where he was from the people who knew him would never say a bad word about him!
I have found out that my great grandfather on my dads side! His dad's dad is Samuel Wick Barton, he was born in Austin Tracy Kentucky and died in Dallas , Texas! I have no dates tho! He married Cora Wood. They had three children. They hd three boys their names are : Romie Lee, Robert , & Samuel Guy! My grandfather is Romie Lee!!!! I was told that Romie Barton , took food and water to Bonnie and Clyde ( I don't know if that is true or not, It what was said tho!!!)
Nick Thacker and Renda are Burr Thackers parents. Renda Thacker was a full blooded Cherokee Indian. Burr Thacker married Maragret and their children are ; Ode Thacker, Marvin Thacker, Floyd Thacker, Roy Thacker, Ocie Leona Thacker, Pansy Thacker, Minnie Thacker, Ludy Thacker, Essie Thacker, Hippie Jane Thacker, Willie Thacker.

My dad! He's in his 50's! My mom had just bought a new camera , and was testing it out. The pic took really good! I think! It shows what daddy really looks like!!!! If you look close he looks like Waylon Jennings!!!! Maybe you can't tell by that pic. But if you seen him in person or dressed up he does!
