Welcome To my Bryant family page. I started doing genealogy because I had never met anybody on my moms side of the family until about around 1999 and I am 38 now, but anyways I got on the net one day and happened to come across a website that someone else had done and he had info on my grandmother, I screamed and called my mom and told her that I had found someone that might be able to help me locate her family, because she had'nt seen them since 1957 when she went into the army and because she married my father who was african american and which was the same for his family, never met them also, because he married her, so I got intouch with the person who had the website and he got intouch with a cousin and been talking every since, I got a chance to go to Louisiana and Texas to meet some of the family members, I'm still looking for info on some of them, but i'm also trying to find info on my fathers family, both of my parents have passed away so that is why it is so important to me to find info on the ones that have passed away and to try and find the ones that are alive, I want to get to know people who are related to me. My family comes from LA. ARK. MS.TN.TX. and proably alot more. The surnames that I am looking for the most know are Bryant, Lomax, Cammon, Wilson they are on my dads side, names on my moms side are Long, Wood, Hamous, Polhemus, Frederick, Wren, Keith proably more.
