I have found that my Great Great Great Grandfather was Charles Carter of Edgefield South Carolina. His wife was Lydia Scurry. I'm looking for more information. This was around 1750 to 1800. My grandfather was William Edwin Carter who was married to Pearl Josephing Taylor. My grandfather died in 1948. His dad was John Luther Carter. The Carter Family is huge, but I'm hoping I can fill in some of the histoy. |
