About Our Family Research

Paulina and Liudvikas (Pauline and Louis) were the first Budzius generation to come over from Lithuania. Both came from Taurage, and settled in Chicago, Illinois. Paulina Budzius came to the United States with the help of her brother Stanislovas. She came through Ellis Island in 1906 without knowing any English, and married Liudvikas in 1909 in Chicago where they then had eight children.
