The family members of Mennie Davis meet for a family reunion once yearly on the third Sunday of May, the weekend before Memorial Day, for the customary observance of memorials. The reunion is held at the Rhymes Cemetery at Lacy, TN. at 10:00AM, followed by a reunion picnic at the park on Highway #100, Bolivar, TN. If you are a member of this family, please come. Send a stamped, self-addressed envelope to my address, and I will mail you directions to the reunion. The Davis family was known to originate from Irish, and American Indian ancestory. If you are a member of the Davis family, or know someone who is, please, contact me at the address on this home page.
If you are a member, or know someone who is, of the Kenneth Adamson family, please, contact me at the address in this home page. I am anxious to find out more about this branch of family. They were from the Missouri, Arkansas, area during the 1800's, with one great or great-great grandfather allegedly associated with an outlaw gang of that period, and the great or great-great grandmother, was a Cherokee Indian that was reported to have come from the Trail of Tears. The original heritage of the Adamsons' may be of Scottish, or Central European descent.
