Glenn Charles Buhrle was born in Hoisington Kansas, on July 25, 1916.

He is the son of Charles Buhrle and Gladys Verbeck Buhrle, of Syracuse Kansas.

He is the youngest of 4. His sister Esther Buhrle Carter died in Dec of 1998 at the age of 87. His brother Willis Frederick Buhrle, died in Nov. 1999, and Glenn passed away in June of 1999. His middle brother Everett, is currently living in Sugar City Colorado with his wife Dorothy.

Glenn married Mildred Helen Whitton,(daughter of Rolla J Whitton and Minnie Helen Metzler) on Feb. 11, 1939. They had 4 children. Ralph Glenn Buhrle, was born on Feb 19, 1942. He was killed in a car accident at the age of 26, on Sept. 28, 1968. Their other son Robert John Buhrle, was born on June 16, 1945, in Los Angeles Calif. He is currently working in Baghdad (city of Balad) as a Fire Chief.

Glenn's 3rd child was Mary Helen Buhrle. She was born April 18, 1951, and was killed in a car crash on August 8, 1951.

Their 4th child was Mary Ann Buhrle Grabo. She was born in San Bernardino California, on November 28, 1953. She has 2 daughters, Jennifer Marie Grabo (born April 6, 1977)and Michele Genese Grabo Frost(born May 5th, 1980... married to David Frost on March 3rd 2002), and one granddaughter... Makinsy Ashley Frost.

Glenn worked for the Santa Fe Railroad as the Lead Conductor in San Bernardino.

He died in San Bernardino, and is buried in Mt. View Cemetery. His wife, Mildred, is currently in a hospice in Moreno Valley California.
