Tracing the Everett roots has led me on quite an incredible journey. I have been able to trace back to my earliest Everett ancestor, Samuel H. Everett, who was reportedly born in Maryland in September, 1765.
Samuel was the oldest of at least three boys--Solomon, who was born in 1768; and John, born in 1770.
Solomon has been traced to Georgia from Maryland, where he and his family settled in what is now known as Everett Springs, Georgia.
Samuel can be found in Georgia in the early 1800s and was a Justice of the Peace in Franklin County. Samuel died in Walton County, Georgia.
We have not been able to find information on the youngest brother, John. We will continue to search.
