I have found many interesting things about my family.. One is the controversy over our family name.. Burch or Burts My dad had brothers who are Burch and brothers who are Burts.. His sisters were one of each.. there are stories of how the name got changed..but none have been verified, yet. My dad's family were not record keepers. My mother's family is just as interesting.. Doctor's and lawyers.. members of the Texas House.. quite a mix!
