My name is Audrey Butterfield Steffee and I have been researching my family lines for about 15 years. My side of the family is the Cheesebrough/Chandler and my late husbands side is the Butterfield/Childers side. He was helping me when he died and I have taken over since then.
I have the Butterfield line back to England in the 1500's and the Childers back to the early 1800's. On the Cheesebrough line I have tem back to about 1804 in England and the Chandler line back to the 1500's. I am still researching and still need all the help I can get to continue. It is a very reqarding hobby (I guess) you would call it.
