I have been gathering information about this family for more than 40 years and I'm hopeful that other Callwards are also interested. However, I was told that my grandfather, Jakob Kallewaart (Callward) was not related to other Callwards in the Marion, Wayne, New York area although that surname appears many times in my records.

My searching has enabled me to be in contact with before- unknown relatives in New York State and a very helpful gentlemen in Holland as well as folks in Australia and British Columbia,Canada.
