About Our Family Research


The ancestors of Marvin Butrum came to Missouri in the 1860-70s.
they settled in the southeast area north of what is now the city of Sikeston, Mo.
It was not until the last ten years that I have stated trying to put together a family genealogy. I have found that an ancestor came to Maryland in the early 1600 and they then spread through Pennsylvania, virginia, north Carolina, Kentucky, Tennessee and then into Missouri.
