am researching my family tree - POTTER.
I first became interested about 2002 when I clicked onto a webpage by mistake and read some of the outcomes and stories of finding lost relatives. This made me think about how little I knew of my ancestral past, other than my grandfather and his family immigrated from England when he was just a boy. No one could tell me much of the family before Australia.
My curiosity got the better of me and so I started some searches and began to see possible connections. From just a small amount of information I have made contact with and received contact from "relatives" in other contries, and discovered more and more information to add to my tree.
I would encourage anyone who has a computer, some spare time and a dose of curiosity to give it a try - it is worth every moment you put into it. To find just one connection is always the urge you need to keep looking and the joy that it brings is very exciting.
