My name is Reginald Butchino (Bottineau) and I am doing research on my family history, surnames of Bottineau - Butchino.
I have been researching for several years and h ave a lot of information compiled however there is a (PIERRE BOTTINEAU) from North Dakota that I am trying to tie into my family history. I know that my father very young moved from St. Jean De Matha, Quebec, Canada around the early 1900's, his father, my grandfather was Peter Butchino (Pierre Bottineau). And my great grandfather was Pierre A. Bottineau. I have been to the Notre Dame Curch in Malone NY and obtained a copy of my mother and fathers marriage licence and certificate. My fathers father was listed on that as Pierre A.Bottineau.

Ozias Peter Butchino (bottineau),born July 14, 1916, died May 16, 1962 in Plattsburgh NY, he maried Pearl Leona Cook on November 12, 1935, she died November 26, 1984 in Platsburgh NY, her father was Ralph Justin Cook, her mother Gladys Denio both from Malone.
