The Buzyna Family from Chicago

Updated March 4, 2007

About Our Family Research

The Paul & Anna (Golitsyn) Buzina family with Paul's parents, Stefan & Nadezhda & sons George and Leonid, arrived as Displaced Persons in Chicago in 1950. The Buzina family was originally from Kovel, Poland (now Kovel, Ukraine) but left the area in 1944 to Germany (via Poland & Czechoslovakia) to live in the Displaced Persons camps before coming to the U.S. in 1950. We aim to learn more about their lives in Kovel before they came to the U.S.
