Currently living in Incline Village, Nevada, the Byfield's are originally from California. Richard is the son of Dwight Byfield, Fresno, Califonia. Ann, Richard's wife since 1971, was born in San Francisco. Aaron E. Byfield, their son, born November 28, 1986 in Sacramento, Califonia.
William Byfield, Richard's great grandfather, homesteaded in McCook, Nebraska in the 1880's. Dennis T. Andrews, Ann's father, came from Calcutta, India and lived in San Francisco.
