Both my husband and I have ancestors that were in the New Jersey,
New York,Mass.,Conn. area from the early 1600's.
I would like to hear from anyone researching the BURNET,HICKS,
Halsey,from eastern Long Island to New Jersey by 1780.
From Staten Island I am looking for SIMONSON,ENYARD,MERRELL,
CROCHERON,POILLON,PERRINE/PERRIN,LaFONTAINE,WOOD,CADMUS
In early Bergen Co.New Jersey the surnames are CADMUS,VREELAND,
VAN BUSKIRK.Later names (1850-1900)LEMAL/LAMAL,DOUGLAS,O'NEILL.
In Essex Co.BALL,LINDSLEY,CAIN,PARKER ROLL,SWAINE in and near
Springfield Twp.
Morris County surnames are HOFFMAN,PARKER,BALL.Daniel PARKER
and Mariah BALL lived in Schooley's Mountain area;c.1800.
She was the daug. of Uzal BALL and g.daug. of Timothy Ball
and Esther BRUEN.Both Timothy and Uzal BALL served in the
Rev.War.
Somerset and Middlesex counties the surnames are CAIN,PERRINE,
CAMPBELL,SMITH,HODGE,KERSHAW,COMPTON, ADAIR.They resided in Bound Brook,Mt.Horeb(FranklinTwp.),BridgewaterTWP.,SOMERVILLE,
ADAMSVILLE.
