The research into the Cain family and the related kinfolk started back in the late 70's by James W. Cain of Sarnia, Ontario, Canada. Before he died in 1997, he asked me, his son, to continue on with the research and to make it available to all relatives who wished to have it. In this endeavor, I have been greatly assisted by my niece, Stephanie Sguigna of Plano, Texas. As of this writing, the research has taken us back to 1652 and with the advent of the Internet and genealogy.com, there is no telling how much further we can go.
