I am the single mother of two lovely children with two absent fathers. Hey, no one plans on that scenario. I was raised as an only child even though I have 4 half brothers and possibly a half sister. My mother died when I was 23 leaving many unasked and unanswered questions. The story I was told about my father was that he supposedly died when my mother was 6 months pregnant with me was supposedly adopted. I have been told recently that the information I had about my biological father is very wrong.


My ex-husband was adopted. There are no real extended family members for us, no grandmothers, no cousins. There have been many gaps left in our family lineage that I am looking to fill, if not with tearful reunions, at least with little lines and names on pieces of paper.
