Alex is son of Freeman and Betty Cain of Tyler and Chandler Texas Area. Alex Cain moved from Texas to Oklahoma while working on the Rail Road (early 1900s), where he met and married Lottie Harper. The Railroad relocated them and their family to Arkansas City, Ks. Unto this union there were nine children: Ishmal (Bud), Goldie, Tillie (TT), Alec, Ell, Laura, Forest, Betty, and Thurmond (Stoney). Lottie (Harper) Cain, was born in Georgia to Jack and Laura (Garrett)Harper. They (Garrett-Harper's) moved to Gutherie Oklahoma in the early 1900s. Jack and Laura Harper had three daughters: Lottie, Willie, and Berta.
