My family moved to Cape Breton Nova Scotia in the early 19 hundred's. My grand father Peter Calder came from Steleraton Nova Scotia and he move here to work with the railway. There were 8 children in his family. His wife Winnifred Maude Stage was from Pugwash Nova Scotia. I'm starting to do some research and to date I'm stuck in the New Glasgow area. I believe his grandfather came over from Scotland, but I don't havbe any information to date to confirm this.
