G'day,
Some of the family's we are researching -
Abel, Campbell, Goddards, Frew, Henham, Martin, Page, Pope, Russell, Welby
We started researching about 1995. At that time we knew our parents names and my husband knew the names of his grandparents. During this time we have met many family members that we didn't know existed, have been given photos of many relatives who have now 'come alive'. Some photos we have been given dated back to the 1870's and we are very proud to be the caretakers of them.
Thanks to genealogy noticeboards, we have left messages and years later been answered and in return have found missing people. Having started with a handful of 'names' we now have over 7,500 'relatives'.
Because of our interest in genealogy Jenni now does some research for other people and teachs basic genealogy. It has become an 'addiction' which we love and taken us on holidays to places we would not of normally gone.
Our advice to everyone is 'never give up'.
