The Cantu's from Nuevo Laredo Mexico

Updated September 18, 2008

About Our Family Research

At this time, we have not had any family reunions or family gatherings other than when I visit. Everyone seems to know I'm coming and they come to my abuelas house in Laredo, Texas. Since my abuela past away giving birth to my apa, I have to aunts that raised my apa and they are my abuelas. Desde chica I can remember going to my abuela's house and eating tortilas con manquella with cafe. Abuelo was already gone by the time everyone started arriving for almuerzo (frijoles con tortillas de harina y cafe) and from there everyone went to school, work or home. What do I mean by home, my older tios and tia would also show up. They lived across the street, or around the block.
