Along with her husband, she owned and operated Vargo Dry Cleaning in Detroit, MI and the F and G Food Market in Londonderry. She assisted her husband with his ministry and together they served in Christian life all through their marriage.

She was a member of the High Street Church of Christ in Christian Union
