The McManus family migrated to south Florida back in the 1940's from Bridgeport, CT. James Patrick McManus, a retired physician moved down with his wife, Margaret Coady McManus and their five children: James J. McManus, Thomas W. McManus, David F. McManus, Margaret P. McManus Myers Reynolds, and John William McManus. They lived off Las Olas Blvd in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. My father James J. McManus settled in Ft. Lauderdale and opened an insurance agency in Wilton Manors, Florida. This family tree consists of his branch as well as that of my mother Mary Ludovicka (sometimes spelled Ludovica)Hasle, from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
